Also, our opening day of the season is Friday, April 21!  As always, we're growing a fabulous selection of plants and hanging baskets- new, unusual, and tried-and-true.  Be on the lookout for the new varigated 'Kosmic Kale', the soft and silver foliage of Stachys 'Bello Grigio', Portulaca 'Watermelon Punch' and it's bicolor companions in the Colorblast series...and so, so, so many more!

Another Garden Gathering

Well, yet another Garden Gathering has come and gone!  Over the past few years this event really has become one of our favorite spring traditions.  It really is wonderful sharing the new and exciting in the greenhouse with all of you!  

Over the next few weeks I'll do my best to get a roundup of as many of the "talks" as I can.  (Somehow we just get busier and busier this time of year...ha!)  Don't hold me to it, but I think the first one up will be a few highlights from Sue's segment "Designing with Food and Flavor", followed by a collection of my favorite water plants from "Wet & Wild".

Anyway, many thanks to all of you who joined us this morning to kick off our spring season!  We'll be beginning our regular spring retail hours this coming Tuesday, April 14.  So swing by on Tuesdays 9-5, Fridays 9-5, or Saturdays 8-12 and get a taste of some spring!

Well, we've recovered from last Saturday's Poinsettia Open House and are busy busy getting the greenhouse ready for some Starlight Shopping!  Hundreds of feet of lights have been hung (and more are waiting in the wings!), we've planted up even more of our favorite things for indoors and out, and we are just so excited to share it all with you!

Experience the greenhouse in all of it's nighttime glory!  There's a first time for everything, and this is the first time we've opened the greenhouse for an after-hours, evening retail event.  (We're making history here, folks!)  There's just something special about spending time in the greenhouse after dark...we can't wait to share it with you!

A Winter Workshop:

DIY Amaryllis Terrariums

Cost: $40 per person

Join us for an exclusive morning in the greenhouse!  We're so excited to offer a small-scale workshop to create your own unique amaryllis terrarium, perfect for your own holiday decor or as a thoughtful gift. The greenhouse girls will be on hand to provide as much or as little assistance as you like.  Then participants are welcome to visit, browse or shop until 12:00 noon.

All supplies will be provided; including glassware, an amaryllis bulb, plus a bounty of natural embellishments.  Of course, participants are welcome to bring personal embellishments to use as well- let's be creative!  Light refreshments will also be available.

Space is limited and R.S.V.P.'s are required for planning purposes. Spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
